RRB recruitment of 12578 posts of TECHNICIANS

Applications are invited in prescribed format only from eligible Indian Nationals for the 12578 posts of TECHNICIANS.

16.07.2012 up to 17.30 hrs. (05.30 PM) 

 Candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizorm, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti Districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andman, Nicobar and lakshwadeep islands and for candidates residing abroad :

 31.07.2012 upto 17.30 hrs. (05.30 PM)

 Candidates Please Note :

 1) Written Examination will be held on the same day by all participating RRBs.

 2) In addition to English, Hindi and Urdu, choice of Local Languages for each RRB is indicated at Para 15. Candidates must indicate their choice of Language while applying.

 3) No examination fee for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Women/Minorities/Persons with Disability/Economically backward candidates having annual family income less than R50,000/-. (Refer para 3)

 (1) Scale of Pay with GP :

For Technician Gr.II/Signal - ` 5,200 - 20 200 (GP ` 2 400),

 for all other Technician Gr.III Categories - 5,200 - 20 200 (GP ` 1 900).

 (2) Age (as on 1.07.2012) : 18 - 30 years

 (3) Exam Fee 

(for Male Candidates UR/OBC only) :

 For Technician Gr.II/Signal - ` 60/-,

for all other Technician Gr.III Categories - ` 40/-

(4 ) Stages of Exam :

Single Stage Written Examination followed by Verification of Original Documents

(5) Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in lieu of course completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI except for Category No.2 & 3 (visit advertisement)
