Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for filling up the vacancies in the rank of Constable Driver in the
pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 in the grade pay of Rs.2000/- and other allowances
admissible to Central Govt. employees from time to time in “Sashastra Seema Bal”.

Age:18 to 28 years ( Cut off date for age will be 1st August,2012)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
(i) MATRICULATION OR EQUIVALENT FROM A RECOGNIZED BOARD/UNIVERSITY.
(ii) Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Note: Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should be
accompanied with Govt. of India notification declaring that such qualification is
equivalent to Matriculation / 10th Class pass for service under Central Govt.
METHOD OF RECRUITMENT
The selection process shall consist of following stages:-
I) Documentation
II) Physical Standard Test ( PST)
III) Physical Efficiency Test ( PET)
IV) Written Test
V) Driving/ Technical test ( Trade Test)
VI) Final Medical Examination
VII) Review Medical Examination
WRITTEN EXAMINATION
The candidates who qualify PST and PET will appear in written examination on
OMR based Answer Sheets which comprise multiple choice objective type question as
per given syllabus :-
Syllabus for Written Examination (Maximum Time: 2 Hours)
i) General English/Hindi : 50 Marks
ii) General Knowledge : 50 Marks
Total : 100 Marks
Minimum qualifying marks : 35% for Gen. and Ex- Servicemen 33% for SC/ST/OBC
Application Fee:-Application fee will be Rs.50/- for candidates
belonging to General and OBC categories.
No fee will be charged from
SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
