Applications are invited from eligible Male Indian citizens for filling up Group ‘C’ Combatised, Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) posts in tradesmen
cadres in SSB for the year 2012 in the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.
2000/- Per month plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Government
employees including ration allowance, medical assistance, free uniform, free
accommodation, free leave passes etc.
The post is temporary but likely to become
permanent.

Pay scale: (Pay Band – 1): Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/- per month.
Other Allowances:
The post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Washing Allowance, Free
Uniform, Free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free Leave Pass and any
other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the Rules/
Instructions. They will be covered under new restructured contributory pension scheme.
A candidate appearing in the recruitment test must mention / intimate if any criminal
cases (s) is / are pending / contemplated against him in any Police station / Hon’ble
Court.
Age Limit:18 to 23 years ( The crucial date to determine the age will be 09-08-2012)
METHOD OF RECRUITMENT:
The selection process shall consist of following stages :-
I) Documentation
II) Physical Standard Test ( PST)
III) Physical Efficiency Test ( PET)
IV) Written Test
V) Technical test (Trade Test)
VI) Final Medical Examination
VII) Review Medical Examination
APPLICATION FEE: The candidates belonging to General and OBC Category will be required to pay Rs. 50/- (non refundable) as application fee in the form of Bank Draft/IPO.
